Environment and national defense: Brazil
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present work consolidates the contribution of the Strategic Studies Center of the Army Command and General Staff School (CEE / ECEME) to the joint study with the Spanish Institute of Strategic Studies (IEEE) on the theme “the environment and its relationship with national defense ”, a matter of common interest to the defense ministries of Spain and Brazil.
Consistent with the importance of the subject, the present work ranges from considerations of sovereignty, legislation and legal protection, to examples of actual actions taken by the Army, whether in the day-to-day of military organizations or in emergency situations.
