Assessment of multicultural perceptions and needs feeled by military participants in peace missions

Abstract
This study is part of a broader doctorateresearch, which has not been concluded yet,that intends, in the limits of this paper, topromote a reflection on the perceptions andmulticultural necessities pointed out bymilitaries who participated in different peacemissions, in diverse moments and periods inorder to evaluate in what extent multiculturaleducation and peace education shouldcontribute to their preparation andemployment.
It is convenient to mention thatthis paper was presented in the 52nd ICET World Assembly and 7th Annual Border Pedagogy Conference, in July 16-19, 2007, inthe University of San Diego, California, USA.
