Abstract

This article aims to present the historical evolution of the admission contest to the Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME) to the present day, pointing out its coherence with the activities performed by the Brazilian Army staff officers, after its ECEME, and indicating their connection points with the new National Defense Strategy.
