Abstract

Nanosized particles of CoFe2-xCexO4, where 0 ≤ x ≤ 0,29, were synthesized by the sol–gel combustion method and the microwave absorption of these ferrites was measured by the Magnetically Modulated Microwave Absorption (MAMMA) method. The results showed that the absorption is highest for a Ce concentration between 0.18 and 0.26, a result that can be useful for practical applications of this material.
