Uma análise sobre o emprego das aeronaves de manobra da Aviação do Exército em operações de manutenção da paz sob a égide da ONU

Abstract

This study deals with the adaptation of Army Aviation (Av Ex) to the capabilities established by the United Nations, with regard to the technical and operational demands for the use of maneuver helicopters in peace operations. The UN request for the participation of Brazilian troops in peace missions has been growing. This situation imposes the need for the Brazilian Army to be prepared, within the established period, to carry out the mobilization of personnel and material for employment, taking advantage of the promptness and experience gained in previous missions. Given the Army employment expectations, was presented, taking into account the operational requirements in force at the UN and the capabilities of the current Av Ex helicopters, the model that best suits the use in these missions. Finally, we sought to provide sufficient elements to the Brazilian Army, in order to support the decision to integrate a peace force consisting of Army Aviation helicopters, in order to project the power of the Brazilian State in the international scenario.
