Ethics in armed conflicts some principles developed by the French army

Resumen

This article aims to present some principles developed by the French Army at the light of Ethics in Armed Conflicts. We approach the principle of strategic autonomy, in which the French policy on security and defense is based. Sovereignty-related aspects and international compromises made by France are also highlighted. Special attention to the International Organizations, especially the UN, is given.
