Abstract

This article covers the study of an electromagnetic unit based on a circular acceleration of protons to achieve 64 MeV energies that can be coupled to accelerators with energy of 15 MeV extractions. In this work we evaluated physical parameters of acceleration and movement of protons through the classical and
relativistic mechanics formulations and technical project modeling in AutoCAD Inventor 2013®. The results show the main parameters that involve the acceleration of protons and demonstrate the feasibility of developing a compact unit to function as accelerator injector. Reduce costs of manufacture, installation and operation of this equipment will facilitate the dissemination of ocular Therapy with protons in various countries
