HISTÓRICO DA INTRODUÇÃO DO ENSINO DE ÉTICA PROFISSIONAL MILITAR NA AMAN
Abstract
The main objective of this article is to present the legal and doctrinal foundations guiding
International Humanitarian Law, also known as International Law on Armed Conflicts, and its
implications for aspects related to the use of troops in Peace Operations under the aegis of the
United Nations. The proposed theme seeks to analyze how the introduction of the teaching of this
discipline within the scope of the Armed Forces, especially in the formation of the army cadet,
and what the possible unfolding that will come from it. The issue addressed goes far beyond
merely applying the norms of engagement to be observed by troops in Peace Operations, rather,
in a critical position of those who will command these troops, which should be based on the
dictates of what the community international law imposes as normative-guarantor scope of the
effectiveness of international humanitarian law
