The Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID) aims to improve teacher training in undergraduate courses and the quality of Brazilian public education by encouraging students to start teaching. Some of PIBID's goals consist of encouraging teacher training, integrating theory and practice, providing undergraduate students with opportunities to create teaching materials and participate in methodological and technological experiences, in addition to participating in teaching practices of an innovative and interdisciplinary nature that seek to overcome problems in the teaching-learning process. The aim of this work is to present the influence of the PIBID Spanish supervisor on the formation of the PIBID Spanish scholarship holders through the analysis of the results of a quantitative-qualitative research on the perceptions of PIBID Spanish scholarship holders from the Federal University of Espírito Santo regarding their reception at the school, the relationship with supervisors and praxis within the basic school. The preliminary analysis of the results indicates that the Spanish PIBID provided scholarship holders with experiences in the future professional space, participation in scientific events and studies on theoretical references.
