Abstract

Considering the increase in the volume of solid waste produced by the industries and the growing concern with the sustainability of the planet, companies are increasingly in need of tools that minimize environmental aggression and seek to improve the quality of life of populations. Thus, one of the mechanisms is Reverse Logistics, which can be applied in a wide and diverse way, mainly proposing the reuse of part of the materials that would be discarded per hour. In order to understand how Reverse Logistics occurs in the Asa Leste company and the impact of these activities on consumers, employees and managers, questionnaires were applied with internal / external clients and interviews with the company's manager. It was found that although the environmental and financial return is need to make feasible efforts in publicizing this activity to reach new clients. successful, in practice, the company's Reverse Logistics is little known among consumers. This result emphasizes the this activity to reach new clients.
