Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the relevance of the curriculum in academic education and the need to adapt it when gaps in student learning are identified. The curriculum is an extremely important document in academic and professional education, as it defines the contents of educational programs and teaching strategies. It serves as a guide for planning and implementing teaching and learning activities. Adapting the curriculum to current student needs and social demands ensures that students acquire essential knowledge and skills, ensuring an equitable education and preparing them for their personal and professional development.
