THE TEACHING OF SOCIOLOGY AT CMRJ: REPORT OF REMOTE EXPERIENCE

Abstract

This paper aims to report the experience of teaching sociology in the virtual learning environment (AVA) of Colégio Militar do Rio de Janeiro (CMRJ). Since March 2020, when face-to-face classes were interrupted by state decree, CMRJ has been using the virtual environment to continue the school year. The experience reported was with all ten classes that make up the first year of high school for which I teach. Through this experience report, I seek to reflect on the possibilities and challenges in teaching sociology through the remote environment.
