Abstract

In this article is realized an analysis of leadership in military field, reflecting especially on the particular characteristics of the context that imply a high challenge for the military officers and their formation process. We deepeend in the exercise of command authority and the competencies required to become a real military leader and the influence of institutional values, ​​preserved through doctrine, in military spirit´s formation required for the development of armed forces´s functions, especially its leaders.
