Abstract

In the current scenario of education, the importance of reading and writing in the classroom at elementary school has had great repercussions, since the understanding that it is through reading that the student has access to cultural goods is seen in a consensual way. of society and, through writing, that he is able to organize his thoughts. In this way, the importance of developing works aimed at reading and writing for students in the school environment becomes evident. Therefore, this article aims to present the 2022 edition of the Sapoti Award, an essay contest developed by the Portuguese Language teaching team of Fundação Osorio
